Short Bio

 

Formed in 2016 by three lifelong veterans of the live music scene, Trilogy delivers the best live music, performed by the best three musicians bar none.

Ron Gardner - a native New Yorker, Gardner originally studied classical guitar and upright bass briefly at the Crane School of Music in Potsdam, NY. Between teaching lessons and work, Ron formed NY power-trio Blue Messiah with bassist Chris Polan and drummer Jamie Shear in the late 1990s and played venues across Northern NY.

After more than a decade away from the music scene, Gardner resurfaced in North MS as guitarist and background vocalist of Alabama based Renegade Jane. Ron and Jane bassist Harry Sappington later would form Trilogy with drummer Scott Alexander.

Harry 'Sap' Sappington - Doubling efforts on bass and acoustic guitar, Sappington has been involved with music in North Mississippi for decades. Sappington was the former bassist of Mississippi blues band Two Lane Blues and Alabama classic rock band Renegade Jane. Sappington would also round out Mississippi acoustic act Smokehouse Rock on acoustic guitar in various venues in North Mississippi. Sappington and Gardner would later leave Renegade Jane to form Trilogy with drummer Ronnie McKeown.

Josh Bullock - The youngest of the trio, multi-instrumentalist and drummer Josh Bullock divides time between drums, bass and background vocals. Bullock has played drums and bass with various groups across North Mississippi, most recently with Evan Adams and Trilogy. An avid fan of Godsmack, Bullock brings a hard hitting edge to the group's sound in perfect time.
